I was quoted £100 by an engineer for new carbon brushes for my SMEs washing machine. I looked at the motor under the washing machine, went to Spares4Smeg and sourced new brushes for a tenner! Delivery wasn’t Amazon- fast but I’m delighted with the money I saved and also that I can keep my machine. Thank you!
